Exhilarating, nostalgic, and action-packed, “Top Gun: Maverick” had viewers of all ages glued to the screen taking another journey with Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise). “Top Gun: Maverick” garnered a lot of hype among audiences, with many wondering when the film would be available to stream at home. Here’s what we know about when and where the “Top Gun” sequel will hit streamers.

What Is “Top Gun: Maverick” About?

Nearly three decades have passed since US Navy pilot Maverick joined the TOPGUN flight school and wowed his peers with his impressive, yet arguably dangerous, flight practices. After being ordered by former rival turned friend Admiral Tom “Iceman” Kazansky (Val Kilmer) to go back to TOPGUN, Maverick has to train a group of young, experienced pilots to carry out a risky assignment that has the potential to damage the Pentagon. During this time, Maverick relives difficult moments of his past as he trains Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his old friend Goose, who died in a flight accident 30 years prior. Through this experience, Maverick must come to accept his past and prove his abilities to the new group of pilots, all while rekindling a past romance.
