Jessica Chastain graced the 2022 CMA Awards red carpet with seductive glamour when she arrived in a custom blue duchesse spaghetti-strap Gucci gown, layered with black lace and glistening gemstone constellations. The 45-year-old actor and producer, who will play country-music star Tammy Wynette in Showtime’s limited series “George & Tammy,” posed for pictures beside costar Michael Shannon at the annual event, which took place in Nashville.

Her look, curated by stylist Elizabeth Stewart, was completed with silver leather platform sandals and white gold earrings with a lion head, a star motif, and aquamarine gemstones, all courtesy of Gucci. Chastain’s red hair was parted at the center and set in perfectly textured waves. She wore pink glitter eyeshadow with a midnight-blue cat-eye and a bold fuchsia lip.

Chastain joined other notables on the carpet, including Carrie Underwood, who opted for a plunging, slit-front gown by La Metamorphose Couture with layers of gathered blue fabric that achieved a waterfall effect; Katy Perry, who sported deconstructed denim in an acid-wash denim Marques’ Almeida set; Kelsea Ballerini, who took a futuristic approach in Balenciaga’s fall 2022 turquoise spandex; and Danielle Bradbery, who put the spotlight on Parisian brand Mônot as she floated in wearing a bridal-white dress with a floor-sweeping train.
