If you’re craving more “Emily in Paris” after that finale cliffhanger, look no further than the season three blooper reel. On Jan. 1, Netflix released a compilation of behind-the-scenes peeks at Lily Collins (Emily Cooper), Ashley Park (Mindy Chen), Lucas Bravo (Gabriel), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie), and the rest of the cast flubbing lines, dropping F-bombs, and breaking character while filming the show’s latest episodes. Bravo kicks off the action by accidentally saying what sounds like “One’s a stuffed assh*le” in a kitchen scene, causing Collins to burst out into laughter and excitedly respond, “That has to go in the blooper reel!”
Highlights include Laviscount splashing Collins with Champagne, Bruno Gouery (Luc) and Samuel Arnold (Julien) having a giggle fit in the office together, and Park singing a Justin Bieber tune in the middle of a scene. The three-minute video also proves that yes, Mindy Chen’s sky-high heels are quite difficult to walk in, as evidenced by Park tripping on the streets of Paris several times. She handles each fall like a pro, however, launching right back into her dialogue as if nothing happened. Viewers also get a glimpse at the real-life uncertainty of Collins pretending to cut her bangs. “Am I supposed to do it? Oh f*ck,” she says with a pair of scissors held to her hair.
The drama reaches an all-time high at the end of “Emily in Paris” season three, with Camille declaring that Emily and Gabriel secretly love each other, leading a heartbroken Alfie to walk away because he doesn’t want to be Emily’s “second choice.” To add to the chaos, Camille is pregnant, Benoît is back in the picture, Julien’s future at Agence Grateau is up in the air, and Sylvie’s work life is about to get even messier. While we wait for more details about season four to arise, grab a McBaguette and a tall glass of Champére and enjoy the blooper reel above.
